# Pricing & billing

Welcome to **Rayon’s pricing guide.** This page explains the different plans, what’s included at each tier, how billing works, and answers common questions.

### Pricing overview

Rayon offers a **free plan** and **two paid plans** (Pro and Team). \
You can choose to pay **monthly** or **yearly** (with a 20% discount for yearly billing).\
You can also pay in **monthly installments** or as a **yearly lump sum** (with 20% discount).

### Billing & payment

* **Monthly vs Yearly**\
  You may choose to pay monthly or annually. The yearly option gives a discount compared to paying month to month.
* **Per-editor billing**\
  Each paid plan’s cost is tied to the number of editors (users with editing rights). If you add or remove editors, your billing adjusts accordingly.
* **Team billing**\
  On the Team plan, billing is centralized—typically handled by a designated account owner or administrator in your organization.
* **Upgrading / Downgrading**\
  You can upgrade your plan (e.g. from Free → Pro, or Pro → Team) at any time.\
  If you downgrade, features from the higher plan may be disabled or limited after your current billing cycle ends.
* **Cancellation**\
  You can cancel your paid plan at any time. After cancellation, your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of your billing period (or immediately, depending on your policy). Please note that deleting your Rayon account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You will need to cancel your subscription prior to deleting your account with us.
* **Invoices & Receipts**\
  Paid subscribers can get invoices or receipts via the billing dashboard in Stripe. (You may want to specify how and where in your app users access invoices.)
