# May '25 Product Updates

## Zoom mode for presentations

We added this month the ability to **zoom inside the presentation mode.** \
This way, people receiving your work will be able to inspect things in greater details.\

## Improved metadata

Rayon finally offers ways to **add metadata on...**

* **Styles**.&#x20;
* **Layers**
* **Pages**

This way, entities tagged for instance with a specific style will automatically inherit from the metadata of from it. This feature can be especially useful when using wall styles carrying the price, material etc. of walls.\

## Background for hatches

Hatches in Rayon can from now on be complemented of **`Fill`** color. \

## Make unique

Rayon now has a new mode, **`make unique`**, allowing you to create a new block definition from an existing instance.&#x20;

## Improved stroke scale

We have spent some time making the whole experience of working with line weight much clearer and simpler. From now on, the **stroke scale** can be found inside the **`Stroke`** dropdown of styles, while the difference of thickness between paper canvas and current canvas is directly explained inside the very same menu.&#x20;

At the same time, we have **changed how lines are displayed in exported PDF/images.** \
By default, the **lines will be as thick as they appear on-screen** in exports. Toggling the **`Strokes`** option will override this logic, to reflect stroke scale, if need be.
