# Rayon for studying

**Rayon is free for the academic world.**

Our hope by opening the software for free to students, faculty and universities at large is **to finally offer a collaborative CAD environment that provides architecture and interior architecture/design curriculums the means to learn and teach with a modern tool set**. As a professional CAD environment that supports multiplayer editing and reviewing, Rayon is essentially the ideally platform to gather architecture/interior design students and faculty. 

Today, Rayon offers free accounts to students and faculty through its ***student plan.*** Rayon also offers more control to academic institutions (admin rights, SSO, repository curation, etc), thanks to its ***academic plan***. Both are free, and can be explored below.
