# Measurement: Length & Area

## Measuring a length or an area in Rayon is the simplest of things. <a href="#h_9ec5398d28" id="h_9ec5398d28"></a>

To measure the length of an object, you can use the `Distance (D)` tool located in the toolbar.

To measure a surface area, simply choose the Area (A) tool:
