# Work with AI

We explain here how **Rayon’s AI feature set** can be used, to what end, and showcase a few well-known workflows.

### Where to find AI in Rayon?

First and foremost, AI can be found in **our toolbar, in the AI tools section.**

### What to do with Rayon AI?

#### Get help/Find content

Get tips and best practices as to how Rayon’s can be used. The panel will offer you some detailed advice, visuals, tutorials, etc to help you get around the software.

**Get help** — The AI panel is the go-to place to find useful advice about Rayon, its feature set and be redirected to useful resources (tutorials, doc, etc)

**Find content** — Alternatively, let the AI panel help you find blocks, styles, and templates from Rayon’s repositories, and get quick access to all of our resources.

#### Generate/edit images

All tools can **also be found and used inside our AI panel**. \
We detail here each workflow, performed inside the AI panel.

**Edit images** — This command will allow you to edit an image with a prompt, or target a specific area of that image to edit. Alternatively, this command will enable you to create a new image from scratch.

**Remove background** — The **`Remove background`** command will subtract any background scene from an image, and replace it with a transparent fill.

**Generate axonometry** — Submitting screenshot of a floor plan to the **`Generate axonometry`** command will create a 3D axonometric view of that scene.

**Expand image** — Rayon allows you to expand an existing image. Either without or with a guiding prompt, the **`Expand`** command will recreate an image in continuity with the image you will submit.

#### **Generate CAD drawings and blocks**&#x20;

Rayon can also generate geometry, either by tracing an existing image, or by generating CAD blocks, from a text or an image of a product.

**AI tracing** — Rayon allows you to generate the CAD tracing of an exsiting image. Rayon will simplify the scene/drawing, and apply a wireframe style to it, and generate the 2D tracing of that image.

**AI product generation** — Rayon allows you to generate the 3 views of a CAD block, starting from a text prompt or the image of product.

### How do AI credit work?

Rayon gives you access to AI tools, based on a credit system. The amount of credits your have will depend on your plan. Credits come in 2 kinds:

* **`Message credits`**: allow you to chat with the AI panel, either to get some advises/help inside the panel, or simply as you chat with the software to generate assets within the same panel. Message credits allowance are based on your plan.
* **`Generation credits`**: allow you to generate images, blocks, edit image, or else. Generation credits allowance are based on your plan, and reset every week.

Both credit statuses can be found in our **credit menu**, accessible from within the AI panel.

Here is a breakdown of **credits allowances**, based on the user's plan.

| Plan                      | Message credits (AI panel) | Generation credits (AI toolbar) |
| ------------------------- | -------------------------- | ------------------------------- |
| **`Free`**, **`Student`** | 5 credits                  | 2 credits per week              |
| **`Pro`**                 | Unlimited credits          | 100 credits per week            |
| **`Team`**                | Unlimited credits          | 200 credits per week            |

### Jobs

At any point, AI jobs can be found in the **`Jobs`** tab of the AI panel. A Job can be deleted or rerunned from there.
