Import & Scale a Floor Plan Image

Starting a project by drawing over the image of a floor plan is a super common in Rayon 🖼️

To do so, simply follow the next steps:

• Import Your image (JPG or PNG) of a plan onto the canvas.

• Use the Scale (S) command to rescale the image, given a distance of reference. In the following video, we use the size of a doorway as a distance of reference, setting it to 90 cm.

• To make sure the plan was scaled, you can simply use the Distance tool to measure the new dimension.

💡 Heads up: Make sure to follow the instruction in the command bar at the bottom of the screen for the Scale tool!
