When locating a bed in a room, it's important to position it according to the entrance door. The following rules of thumb will allow a sense of security and privacy in a bedroom:

• Place the bed diagonally to the entrance door.

• Avoid placing a bed directly in front of a door.

The recommended distance between a bed to a TV can be achieved by multiplying the TV screen size (diagonal between cross corners of the screen) by 1.2.
