Rayon allows you to import images (JPG and PNG), AutoCAD files (DWG and DXF) and PDF files.
💡 Heads up: PDF file imports and DWG file imports are limited to files up to 10Mo

Importing an AutoCAD file 📁

To import a DWG or DXF file (AutoCAD, up to 10Mo), start from your workspace:
Click on
Import
and choose a file from your directory to bring into your workspace!Help Rayon set the scale by estimating the length of the blue line in relation to the floor plan, and click on
Import
Thats it! your new model will be generated in the workspace
💡 Heads up: imported DWG or DXF plans can sometimes be out of scale. This is often caused by a mismatch between the unit of the original file, and Rayon’s unit system. For instance, one can be in millimeter and the other in meter. To restore the right scale, simply use the Scale tool. Here is a tutorial using this command!
