How to create and use templates

What is a template?

A template is a model that will help you kickstart new projects faster. Templates are available to everyone in your organization and allow you to all work in a standardized way by pre-defining:

• Styles (line widths, fonts, hatches, colors, etc.)

• Blocks (furniture and other components typically used across your projects)

• And more!

How to create a template?

• Start from a model that you want to create a template from.

• Inside that mode, click on the Share button, in the top-right corner.

• Select the Template tab and toggle onPublish as template.

How to use a template?

To access your published templates, you may browse the list of templates in the Templates section, in the project manager. Organization's and personal templates will be listed there.

Clicking on a template will create a new model of that template.

Another way to quickly access your template, is to head to the template dropdown, next to New model.
