How to create, publish, and use templates?

What is a template?

A template is a model that will help you kickstart new projects fast. Templates are available to everyone in your organization and allow you to all work in a standardized way by pre-defining:

• Styles (line widths, fonts, hatches, colors, etc.)

• Blocks (furniture and other components typically used across your projects)

• And more!

Creating a template

• Start from a model that you want to create a template from.

• Click on the Share button, in the top-right of the editor.

• Select the Template tab and toggle Publish as template on.

How to use a template?

You may browse the list of templates in the Templates section, in the project manager. Organization's and personal templates are listed here.

Clicking on a template will create a new model. Rename it and start working on your project!

There is also an easy access in the New model button.
